Yizkor Book

As we approach the High Holydays, we are once again preparing to print the Book of Remembrance, Yizkor (memorial) book, to be used during the Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Pesach, and Shavuot holidays in the coming year.  The book will contain the full Yizkor service, as well as the names of those to be remembered. 

To include a memorial for your loved one(s), prior to the deadline of Wednesday, October 5th, please submit per the following:

1) The names from the last Yizkor Book (5775/2014-2015) WILL be included, and an electronic invoice will be sent to you from the shul. A copy of the last Yizkor Book can be found at Yizkor Book 5775. If acceptable, no reply is necessary. If this is NOT acceptable, please respond via e-mail to office@islandsynagogue.org.

2) Add names to a new or existing entry: Please use the form below to add names to the Yizkor Book, including the relationship to you and how you want your name to appear. The following is an example:

Karl and Golda “Olga” Schiller
Beloved Sister - Harriet Weitzman
Beloved Aunts and Uncles
              Leon and Sophie Kempler
              Morris and Tobey Reibscheid
